Toshiba Thrive - Coming Soon

I am looking forward to the new 10.1 inch Android tablet by Toshiba. The Thrive is due out on July 13th, but rumor has it that some Best Buy stores are already receiving it. What I like about the Thrive are the USB, mini USB, HDMI, and SD card slot. It runs Honeycomb 3.1. The price is not bad either with a starting point of $429 for the 8GB model.

500,000 Android Devices activated daily

If you have not heard, which would surprise me, Google announced that over 500,000 Android devices were being activated daily. This is an astounding number considering the lack of tablet sized application on the market for Android. Hopefully, we will start to see the developers pushing quality tablet apps to the Android Market in the near future.
